This week at Pond Hill has been mainly spent on the computer (despite the picture). I met with our accountant and bookkeeper early in the week to talk about last years balance sheet and budgeted labor costs. We needed to determine whether our cost of goods sold that was calculated from our 2016 balance sheet is the most accurate and up to date information available. We also had to segment our labor costs based on different departments and employees types in order to compare our actual wage costs with our budgeted numbers.
In addition to office work, I have been checking things off the project list such as cleaning up the trail system. This is a nice break from my desk because I get to take one of our ATVs or tractors out on the trails and fill ruts and clear debris.
