Another week down at Mycogen Seeds. This past week was a slower week, and a shorter week, as I got the Friday of in observance of Independence Day. Monday I went to Henderson, MI to get some seed for return and delivered it to a warehouse where the seed is stored. Tuesday I went to Fremont and met with Jason Smith to deliver invitations for the MSU Enlist day. This is important to get the retailers to because once global approval, this technology will be huge in fighting resistance issues in corn and soybeans, and the retailers will be the ones dealing with selling the seed and chemicals. Wednesday was spent on campus at the MSU Weed day. This was a nice change of pace to wake up and be a mile from my destination. This was a large event that almost every seed company, chemical supplier, and retail location attended and it was nice to talk to some other companies and network at the same time. Thursday was just a short day for me, and it was spent doing expense reports and administrative duties in the morning, and putting Mycogen signs in a plot. Overall, good week.
